I am going to silicone some of the smaller rocks ( they are about the size of walnuts) to the edges of the pots so from the front you shouldn't be able to see that they are pots. We just returned from Lowe's got 9 terra cotta pots, 3- 2ft sections of 2in. diamiter PVC, 100 lbs of play sand, a bag of pond rocks ( rocks are different sizes from grape sized up to softball sized), a bag of meremac river rocks(the smaller ones), and some silicone.

As you know I use a huge stack of terracotta pots. I think your idea sound awesome and will look great!
