Considering ADF breeding

So, my ADF Eddie’s brother recently passed away, meaning he is all alone in the 10 gallon with my betta Reggie (I would have gotten more initially but that’s all the store had). I’m thinking of getting him a nice female and breeding them (then keeping a few babies so there can be a whole group of them and selling the rest). Yes I have done my research on it and I believe it would be a very fun and educational experience. I understand the process and feeding requirements. My male is also constantly singing and I believe he would enjoy being able to show off for a female. However I want to know a few things:

-Where is a safe and reliable place to order a female ADF online if anyone has had luck with this?
-Would people want my ADF since they would be guaranteed to not have chytrid? (I’d quarantine the female for 2 months beforehand of course, unless my source is proven to not carry contaminated frogs)
-Would it be better to purchase a different color morph female for the chance of some different colored babies (ex: blonde)

Thanks in advance!

Here’s my sweet boy and his tank just for fun

That would absolutely be an awesome experience breeding them. Following with interest. Hope you’re able to find a female and get the party started

Why not pick a female at a Lps?

Unfortunately none of my local pet stores sell ADF. It is very very rare, and if they do, they are gone within a day. Hence why I only got my hands on two. Plus my LPS are petco and PetSmart (and not very reliable ones either). I worry that if I purchased from them the frogs would have chitrid because they were shipped from big breeding farms.

I’m very excited!! I am going to college next year though, so I am either going to have to get started this month or wait until I get to my campus to ensure the safety of the froglets. I worry that getting new parameters after the move would be too hard on young froglets. Plus with it being my first time breeding I definitely don’t need any extra variables (like moving them 4 hours away) lol

Hey, I'll butt in here and say that I have a 3 year established tank that I've moved back and fourth for winter and summer during college with a betta fish, lots of live plants, and a snail in it. I put the established tank water (my tank was 5.5 gallons) into 3 or 4 gallon water jugs so I can keep the water with the good bacteria, leave the rest of the water in the tank (plastic wrap over the top to stop splashing), and transport the fish and snail in their own separate container. When I get to where I'm going, I add the original water back in, and other than cloudy water for a few hours, it doesn't mess with my tank parameters. I could usually put my betta back in a few hours after the water was poured back in.

That would be awesome. I've heard it's pretty difficult, so I don't know of any private breeders. There's been a couple of threads from people who were breeding them, but don't know how it turned out. I've gotten mine from Petco and Live Aquaria (who probably get them from the same big farms) but never had a problem with them.
