Confused about gold rams…

Ok so I have what I thought was a pair of gold rams, they do everything together, but now I look at them a bit closer I think they might both be female, any opinions? The one I thought was definitely male is definitely showing a female breeding tube but also has a very sunken belly which I hope shows up in the pics.. any general advice would be great

 

Thinking you have a male there and a female?
Hard to say but the sunken stomach does look male IMO.

 

That’s what I thought, but I’m pretty sure he/she is showing a female breeding tube and the fatter one a male tube.. should I be concerned about the sunken belly?

 

Give the fat one [ her ] time to catch up.
The tube may show more soon as she looks pretty close to laying eggs. She is a she 100% IMO.
Males can be skinny but I would try to feed better and maybe worm the tank?

 

They’ve both been on frozen food and live white worms for the past 2 weeks, hopefully he will start to catch up soon, the tank has been wormed over the last 5 days or so my male blue ram is pretty skinny but nowhere near as sunken bellied. I won’t worry about it

 

coralbandit I don't suppose you sell any of your rams overseas do you? I'm guessing not but thought it was worth asking!

 

I am actually on break from breeding!
No rams in the house.
Farthest I managed to ship was Guam.
Anything beyond the USPS and America is difficult.
You should be able to find a seller who get Danziger rams. That is what you want.
