Coming Home - New Betta!

Decided this guy was coming home with me today. Seen him at the local Petco for about 2 months now, decided he needed more room to swim!!

 

Wow ! 2 months ! He found a very good owner Brother !

This is how I know he been there awhile. Had my eye on him. Decided I was getting another betta today because they had an awesome selection of gorgeous ones, but saw him still there and knew he was coming home. The cashier was like "I like him but he has been here forever! Thanks!!"

Will do! Currently just exploring the new home, looking very confused and relieved to have SPACE!!

 

We decided he shall be called Woodstock, based on his tie-dyed appearance.

 

Well, so far so good with Woodstock. Still having a blast zooming around his tank, not sure he even slept last night!! Eats very well too. Gotta go get a betta hammock or something tomorrow, he definitely prefers the top of the tank.

 

Well, after a week at home, he started out super-aggressive, always flaring at anyone who walked up to his tank. Now he likes to watch me in the mornings from the mouth of his cave, most likely watching for food. Think we have another happy betta! (The wife did scold me a bit at first for bringing home another betta, though)
