Columbian Shark Food?

I just bought two Columbia’s sharks and was wondering what I should feed them any suggestions?

 

You could do catfish pellets, blood worms, brine shrimp. I don’t know to much about them but aren’t these brackish fish? And just curious is your tank brackish and what size?

 

Yes its a brackish tank and I only have a 10 gallon for now but I ordered a 50 gallon which I will be moving them to.

Also do you know when they go from their juvenile stage so I know when to switch them over to brackish water

No, I know what it is have plenty of live plants to compensate for the buildup but thanks for your concerns. Any recommendations on type of plants and the best ones?

That's fine too, having lots of plants that consume ammonia fast enough is still a form of the nitrogen cycle. It's actually the one that happens in nature (with other factors and steps too).

Floaters help with consuming nitrogen (ammonia), duckweed, giant duckweed, salvinia minma, and frogbit are all surface-only and grow fast. Hornwort can be planted or float and it grows fast too. Vallsineria is a fast grower that's planted and creates a nice jungle look.
