Are there any?
WCMM maybe? But they are a schooling fish... so five gallons may not be enough space :;dk
I don't think 5 gallons is enough for white clouds. What about a small school of 5 celestial pearl danios?
I'd say a betta, but their water has to be warm.
maybe local fish from a lake or river.
Doubt theres anything in a lake or river small enough. What about dwarf crays or a shrimp tank, and im not talking ghosts or chrrys, fancy shrimp, something nice.
I agree, shrimp and a dwarf crayfish are good. There are many species of killifish that would do well in a 5, and many of them would do well in an unheated tank. A pair or trio would be nice.
Lol, sorry but only here could you say "something nice" refering to shrimp.
Have you seen blue tiger shrimp, pearl shrimp, crystal shrimp? Or Orange eye black tiger? Trust me, thats something nice, VERY nice
I know, I've kept blue pearl shrimp, I loved them. It's just funny to see it put that way
I've always wanted green neon shrimp. Blue shrimp ate cool. Can killi fish go w/out heat?
Thanks. Hmmm, green shrimp and kili fish sounds good. Without heat the temp drops to around 60F. Don't know how low w/ AC running.
You keep your house at 60 or below?
never had them, but they might work?
A salmon haha
For those the tank needs to be 12 by 17 inches roughly, what are the dimensions of the 5gal? They look sweet, they may work.(theres the matter of obtaining them though)
CPD's should work as well as some shrimp and yes some killifish other than that I dunno really.
Yeah there are some pretty cool shrimp species. I personally love the blue pearls. Can't really grow attached to banana shrimp, red cherry shrimp, or ghost shrimp, as I watch as they get eaten all the time
What about a snail tank ! It would be a project . Getting plants setup first, then getting a population of ramshorn/pond snails set up and some nerites. Then getting 1-2 assasin species, some MTS or such.
