Ok, I know its not cob webs... at least I think I do. In my ten gallon tank there is what looks like cob webs hanging from the cave to the wall and also on some of the plants. Any ideas on what it is? Is it harmful? What should I do to get rid of it?

Its not showing up in the pix I'm taking. It does look a little like that. Just as long as its algae I'm fine with it. As long as its not harmful for Satin.

I got something that might be like what you are describing in my 20g. While it was cycling this weird stringy clearish algae would show up, hanging from plants or something, and then go away on its own in a few days. If you can just pull it off wherever it is attached.
