Hey everyone,

So I have a 22 gallon long planted tank. My LFS advise me to get the Eheim 2211 filter but I feel as if the flow is not strong enough to even reach end to end of my tank, but distributing co2 could be tough. I have been placing my diffuser below the output of the filter but always read to have it on the opposite end of the output and have the outflow push the co2 throughout the tank. And when I have my diffuser on the opposite end of my outflow, it pushes it down a little bit but stays mostly on one side until it gets sucked into the filter which I'm not sure is ok. Am I just freaking myself out or should i possibly look to upgrade my eheim filter to a 2213 or 2115 like I was originally going to do.

Ps. i really don't want more equipment to add on the tank for example a powerhead. Thanks for the help!

Given some time and patience you’ll be fine. I keep my co2 diffuser near the outflow and have better than I could hope for results. Well I could do with a week off from trimming; otherwise happy with the results. The filter is more than sufficient btw.
