Cloudy water problem with my tank

I've just done a water change, how long does it take to go away?

When a tank gets stirred up after a water change the water will settle to clear in a couple of hours.

If however the tank is not cycled and you are looking at a bacteria bloom it’s a completely different situation.
Did you add an ammonia source to the tank for weeks before you added fish ? If no fish why are you doing a water change?

I've had this tank for a while, it was clear, then yesterday it randomly got cloudy. I had to do a water change anyway that day so I did a water change. but the cloudiness is still there, I also do siphon my tank.

You might have the floating algae that we commonly call green water?

Or it’s a bacteria bloom that would be a whiteish colour.

Do you know the numbers from a liquid water test , in ppm ?
