Cloudy tank after 4 weeks?

Jilianjones

Hi!!
So I’ve had my tank running for 4-5 weeks now. At first, the water was hazy for a week or so. I made a dumb mistake with not wringing my gravel very well. The tank cleared up and has been clear for a while now.
Today I got home (it was clear this morning) and it was super cloudy!! (I’ll attach pictures) help!! I don’t want my fish to die if something is wrong!
I was wondering if this is just a bacterial bloom, (the picture doesn’t make it seem bad but in person it’s pretty cloudy) but I thought that would’ve happened earlier in the cycle.

You're definitely having a bacterial bloom my friend. It's just all of the other bacteria that contributes to organic waste breakdown roaming around in your tank. It'll clear within 3 days. :D
