Cloudy Eye Cardinal

Anyone with experience with Cloudy Eye fish? I've been researching the net with this and been getting "bad water condition". I've been doing daily water changes 15 percent since I started this tank on April 14. I've also been doing daily water testing since it is a Dirted Tank.

My current water parameters is:

0ppm Ammonia
0ppm Nitrite
5ppm Nitrate

PH is 7.4
Water Temperature is 80degrees
Air stone
2 Canister filters running (CF-400 and CF-500)

Also, this is my original fish from my 55 gallon (2-3 years old). I haven't bought any new fish in ages (years). I've checked the rest of the cardinals and their eyes are okay along with the rest of the fish. How can I cure my cardinal?

 

Usually it is from water conditions. But yours seems great. How was the tank cycled so fast? Maybe it got injured on something ?

 

I transferred my canister filter from my 55-56 gallon tank (CF-400) over to the 100 Gallon tank and bought a new canister filter at the same time (CF-500).

I am perplexed how it can have a cloudy eye, don't know what is going on.

Can you QT the fish and treat? That's a good step. Maybe it was a fluke injury if other fish look good.

You can use API Triple Sulfa for eye cloud.

Package doesn't say otherwise. I think I had red cherry shrimp when I treated my tank.
