Well I have one of these fish in my tank and he is wild-caught and I taught him to associate my face/hand with food and he did and it was the best moment I had with this fish. Then things became busy and I ran out of his favourite food and my Mom transferred the tank to a new spot then he was scared of me from now on.I need help to make him eat again he is super stressed due to his faded color.

Hello
What was his favorite food? Do you still have his favorite food? Is he racing to his cave when you go near the tank?

I got his fave snack now. A site told me that adding garlic to it will improve his appetite, is this safe?!

I don't know if it is safe to do, but many people here have done it and its worked. I haven't needed to try to add garlic to there food. and when you moved I think he was confused on what was happening and stressed, so just give him time and try to spend time and watch him
