I have a nice size piece of driftwood I've been soaking for about a month and now trying to decide to use it or not. I like how my 20g long look with crystal clear water, but I know once I add this driftwood it will turn brownish. This is my first time and I've seen some tanks with the tinted water and not bad.

What do you all think I should do? Just curious about which one to go for, leave it crystal clear or go for the tint?

Thanks.

Use it and love the tint.
It will turn crystal clear within some time.
At that moment you'll be so addicted that you will start using all kinds of tannins to keep it brownish hahahaha.

I guess I'll go for it since I have it.

Thanks.
