Cleaning Tank With Fry

How do I gravel vac a tank with fry in it without sucking up fry? Should I make fry grow out tank instead? Its a pair of gardnerI killifish.

Could try wrapping your cleaner with panty hose.

Or look into the bucket for fry you may have sucked up.

But panty hose is the best way.

Put fine netting over your siphon. Or if its a small tank use a turkey baster for it all.

If you are raising fry though, bare bottom tanks are usually easiest though.

Turkey baster or air line with rigid tube. This is what I use in my small fry tanks.
Go BB if you think you are going to raise fry .You'll never keep gravel clean enough with the feedings fry need IMO.
