Would making a 75 gallon stand out of cinder blocks be safe? How about using 4 cinder blocks high with 4 rows or would I be okay with only 3 rows with 4 cinder blocks high? I'm worried about the center of gravity being too high. So would a 75 gallon be okay with 4 blocks high with either 3-4 rows? How many rows should I make? Because 3 blocks high is way too short for me!!! Between the first 4 blocks on the ground was thinking of putting plywood 1/2 inch then 4 more blocks on top then 1/2 inch plywood then 4 more blocks then four 2x4s going across on top of blocks with 3/4 inch plywood on top of 2x4s with a layer of foam and then tank. How does that sound? 3 or 4 rows? How much foam and what kind? I would think the foam would just be smashed by the weight of the tank?
Sorry if I'm 'stealing' your thread. Just got this and don't know if I make my own thread, which sounds logical, or find a category that suits my question. A lot of them were closed so sorry hope someone replys. Thanks fish friends
