I recently had a Texas cichlid die after she started to spin in circles and jump out of the tank. Since then my second Texas and a convict have been weird as well. They either sit on the bottom or swim downward into the bubble stream. I’m very confused by the actions bc they have been doing well for the past 6 months and it’s making me nervous. I don’t want to lose another fish..

Any advice is very helpful

60 gallon long

If your water parameters are fine, then the problem is likely either parasites - Heximita or an intestinal bacterial infection. If the infected fish are still eating and if parasites are the pathogen then you might treat the tank with Seachem's Metroplex & soak food in it.
Nearly impossible to cure intestinal bacterial infections.
Chances not much better for intestinal parasites.

Ok I thought I had resolved the problem and it seemed to have worked for one of the sickly fish but my convict is sitting on the bottom of the tank still
