Cichlid Missing Scales

My cichlid got in a fight and is missing several scales...what do I do

Isit still with theattacker? Id start with a water change to make sure you have cleanerwater to prevent infections.
if you have to separate them, thentheres that. Some people have luck moving things around to create more sight barriers.
water additives that include aloe may be helpful

what kind of cichlids are we talking about?

Bumblebee cichlids

I'm asuming these are males. Bumblebees are pretty aggresive and I wouldnt advise keeping more then 1 male per tank if this is the case.
adding rockwork/caves may help.
if you haven't had them too long youmight consider rehoming one.

is this a biggish tank?
