I have a pretty new 45 gal. planted community tank. I fishless cycled it for a month, and it's had fish for 3 weeks. So far it has 12 Harlequin Rasboras, 10 Cardinal Tetras and 2 tiny Bristlenose Plecos.
I'd next like to add some Cherry Barbs, as well as a few Cory Cats. My question is about the Cherry Barbs.
How aggressive are they? Will they bother the Cardinals?

Cherry barbs are pretty peaceful, especially when they have full schools. I doubt they'd bother any of your other fish.

Agreed. In my experience, cherry barbs are peaceful. They only skirmishes I've had are between the two males, but they ceased once I added a few more females.

Thanks. I've read posts where they have chased and nipped other fish, but I'm hoping in a school with a mix of male/female they will peacefully join the community.
