Certain angles water looks green.

My tank looks clear at some angles and green at others. Any ideas why?

Do you have any algae on the walls of your aquarium?

No I just cleaned it, there wasn't any on there before I cleaned it either. I even took a pitcher and filled it up with my tank water and its clear in the pitcher

Green from the front or sides?

Sides

It's the natural tint of the glass.

Ignore how empty it looks right now, just ordered 40+ live plants and took out all fake plants to prepare for the live ones.

Possibly because you're looking through more water from the sides than from the front. The water may have a slight green tint that isn't noticeable in smaller amounts but noticeable in larger amounts.

Should I be worried? Tomorrow is water change day anyway. I usually change 30 percent.

It's the tint in the glass. Unless you get starfire glass it will have a green tint.

Okay cool. Thank you! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting an algae bloom.

It could be the diffused reflective light of the room and aquarium background, combined in the water, plus what those guys said about the green glass tint
If you take of the lights in the room would it make a difference or if you moved the aquarium light from the back of the tank to the front or middle of the tank?
