Celestial Pearl Danio fry?

It has been two days since I moved the Celestial Pearl Danio from the 5.5 gallons into the 20 gallons. Today I was contemplating emptying the 5.5 gallons, but the idea of a shrimp tank seemed attractive so I left it standing. I moved my Marineland 100B filter to the 20 gallons as well. I just opened the lights and I saw tiny microorganisms skimming along the surface. Could these be newly hatched fry? They are moving along the surface as if they are swimming. They are very very tiny, I cannot make out what they are.

New fry will look like this.

I've got a ton of microfauna in my 8.5 gallon shrimp tank.
It looks like a snow globe sometimes.

Hmmm. I don't know. They kinda look like this, but they are very very small. They keep darting around, so I can't say for sure. I guess not based on size. Unless the newly hatched CPD fry is tiny compared to the other danios. But I will leave the tank untouched for a week or two and see if they grow.

If microfauna looks like a snow globe, then I definitely have them in the 20 gallons community tank.

Do you have an infusoria culture started to feed the fry?
That will give them lots to eat

Can you catch a couple in a glass or a jar and take a look at them up close.....

It sounds dumb to say it out loud - but fry look like little teeny fish/tadpoles.... If they look like little shrimp or worms - they aren't fish fry..

And before they're free swimming they look like two little eyeballs and you may or may not be able to see the line of their body behind it

Here's one among the other fauna in a tank:
(Video will jump to the right time to see)

See that itsy-bitsy red square in the left? That's either a zebra or pearl danio fry. Both were in that tank so it's hard to be sure. Once they hatch they head for a close surface and hang out there for a day or two before they start swimming around.
If you have other fish in with them, this is a good time to suck them up with a pipette and transplant them to a fry tank

Thank you all for the replies and help. Yes, they are fry. I have no clue how to make infusoria to feed them. Any advice? I am totally new to this.

Mark's Aquatics has a good tutorial on culturing infusoria. You just need to start with some tank water and a food source for them.
You can also culture baby brine shrimp, but if you can't get them immediately an infusoria culture will be ready to go pretty quickly.

Okay, so.. So far I saw three fry in the tank. It seems like my CPD's were eating them until I coincidentally moved them. I hope these little guys survive they are so hard to see and they hide in the plants when the light came on. So maybe there could be more. In regards to infusoria. My tank already has some inside. I see them skimming the water surface and the glass now that the filter is removed. I will make some for them as well.

What should I do with water changes and heating? I totally took everything out and winter is coming.

Add a small heater for sure. Water changes just use an air line tubing and do slow small water changes to not suck them up or shock them.
good luck raising fish are fun. I was able to get a lot of my dry to take frozen foods like rotifers and cyclops. Also frozen BBS. I’d feed them that then an hour or so later I’d clean the tank bottom with the airline tubing to maintain water quality. I love CPD.
