So sadly I need to re-home my Opaline Gourami. However, I cannot seem to catch her! I'd rather not disturb the environment of the tank and remove everything to catch her. I'd rather use a trap.
I have researched diy traps with 2 liter soda bottles, but I'm wondering if anyone here has had any success???

Thanks all for the help :)

I found it most effective to drain about 2/3 of the tank and use two nets - one that chases and one that catches.

If you have a net, place it in the tank for a minute or two then drop food around the net. As the gourami comes up to eat catch her, I don't think this will work if you have more than one fish in the tank though :p

Yeah I have more than the gourami. I'll have to try the net thing. I tried with one net, one of the large ones with no luck.

Simply gently corner them to the edges of the tank eventually they will go in
    your net
