Carpet plants covered in mold

Eyaron94

I bought some carpeting plant seeds on Amazon and spread them on aquarium plant substrate. Generously sprayed them with water and covered the aquarium with plastic wrap and added light. After 2 weeks the seeds have sprouted and look great but mold has taken over and is EVERYWHERE now.
How can I save the plants and make this a safe place for future fish to live in?

After researching how to fix the mold problem I have come across threads warning not to buy seeds and that I should have given the carpet plants more air to avoid mold. I realize this now and won't make the same mistake in the future. Right now I'm looking for a way to get rid of the mold that's present.

Welcome to Fishlore.

I'm not sure about this, but I would suspect your mold might not do so well submerged. Perhaps, if your intent was to fill the tank at some point, it's time to fill the tank.
