wow, 200 yrs old carp and I thought only turtles live for 200 yrs!!!!!!!

Wow that was pretty interesting.

Well, we can see carp everywhere, but this red carp of ours, "Hanako", is as old as 215 years.
I have to admit though, I was reading a bit too fast at first. In the above line (first line of the second paragraph) I didn't read the word carp closely enough and I ended up transposing the 'a' and the 'r'. This of course made this an entirely different story which didn't have much to do with koi.

That's amazing that a fish lived so long and the other fish where pretty old as well.. can we get some of that water for our tanks?

wow!! I had no idea koi lived that long! welll....the things I learn on here!!

lol luniyn!! I transpose letters when i'm reading a lot - usually when i'm reading fast or tired or both!! it makes interesting reading sometimes when that happens!! take on a whole new meaning!! you wouldnt want to remove scales with tweezers from what you were thinking!! could be tricky! ;D

some people name everything! but more than the name.. why would they hand that down from one generation to another?
