Caring For Cories

HI all so I just got 6 baby emerald Cories and currently have them in a 2 gallon bucket floating in my 29 gallon while it finishes up it’s cycle. I have an air stone and quite a few plants that will be going into the big tank once it’s ready, with them. I wanted to know specifics on caring for these little guys. What temps do they like? Also, with the bucket I have them in, should I be preforming daily water changes? Seems to be a good idea. And once my cycle is complete (2 days according to Dr. Tim’s site) is it ok to add these little guys right away? thanks in advance for the input

 

Nevermind on the water change question lol I went ahead and did it. Added a little Dr. Tim’s first defense, and things seem to be ok lol

That’s the best I can do thru a foggy looking bucket. I’ll get some once they’re in the tank.

 

They swim so fast and my phones camera sucks! But here you can kinda see!!

 

Only thing is that I believe they aren't C.splendens but C.aeneus.

Thing is there seem to be sold Emerald green corys overthere (noticed some with other members as well) that seem to be a C.aeneus × C.venezuelanus crossbreed.
They've the size of aeneus and partly the coloring (brown/orange fins + green) of C.venezuelanus.

Think fishfarms made a "new type".
BTW : "ordinary" aeneus are often a mix of different aeneus-types as well.
