Caridina Shrimp With These Parameters?

Well planted 3.3 gallon, cycled, dosing Bacter AE 5 days a week. Currently living in there are 5 ghost shrimp (will probably be moving them once I get better shrimp), a cherry, and an Amano. The substrate is controsoil which buffers pH to 6.0. Currently, the values of the tank are:

pH = 6.6
KH = 3
GH = 4.5
TDS = 93

With these parameters, would I be able to keep Caridina shrimp such as crystal red, crystal black, or tiger? Also, would any breeding occur?

In my experience a higher PH, GH and KH would increase your odd. Shrimp will adapt to the lower PH.

stability and pristine water is the key. IMO.

I thought it was neos that liked the higher pH/KH/GH, am I misinformed?

No, you're correct. Those parameters look pretty good, but the KH cannot go any higher, from what I've heard from crystal keepers 1-2 is better.

I've heard some say 0 is desirable but then you have nothing to stabilize pH...

Should I start using RO or distilled water? Maybe mixed 50/50 with my tap to cut KH and GH? Or is it nothing to worry about as long as it's stable?

I don't have experience with crystals so I don't know about their adaptability, but mixing sounds good. A GH of 4 is quite ideal. Flip Aquatics is a good youtube channel for this stuff!

I just subscribed yesterday actually!

So, if I choose not to mix, is a KH of 3 going to cause any issues such as slow breeding or death?

One more thing: is a temperature difference of 4 (70 - 74) degrees throughout the day undesirable?

Not sure about the KH Just repeating what I've heard. The temperature change should be alright though.

having kh in the water exhausts the substrate faster.
that's all I know about that.

you should use just RO water and add minerals.
what you have in the tank now,water is too soft.
