    my cardinal tetra has ich not too bad yet ! i have about 6 cardinals and about 12 neons .
    My question is i also have 8 glass catfish i know they dont have scales so can i treat the whole tank to get rid of the ich. ?

    Why not just up your temp to 86F the parasite will die off in about 10 days believe

    I would start the heat method now. Don't salt the tank, the glass cats won't like that. Slowly up the temp to 86 and leave it there for two weeks after the last spores have vanished. Daily water changes with gravel vac will help speed things along. You'll also want to use an airstone during treatment.

    Are you 100% sure it is Ich? Cardinals are prone to other diseases that show white spots too!!
