I have been medicating for the full turn, my snails in a small bowl and wanna get him to the main tank soon as possible. I replaced fliter pad with a carbon one and left the old one floating next to the fliter so it (hopefully) doesn't start at mini clycle. How long to leave carbon fliter in before most the copper will be removed?

Copper may not ever be fully removed, even with carbon. What medication did you use?

Use Poly Filter. Poly Filter is a product that will turn color as long as copper is present.
Poly Filter will absorb all copper and meds until its 100% gone, the change in color will tell you.
