Can’t Get My Rapashy To Set

So I’m trying to make Rapashy S Green, and I can’t get it to set.
I’ve gotten my water to a roiling boil, and mixed 2 parts water to 1 part Rapashy. I mix well and let it sit on the counter for hours.
I get it the consistency of nasty baby food, but I’m looking for a jello consistency I believe.
What am I doing wrong?

I sometimes have that trouble too, I just add a bit more powder & stir really well while it’s still hot.

In my experience it sets better if you put it in the fridge after mixing.

Thank you. I’ll try that

And I’ll try this too, thank you.

Make sure the water is boiling when you add the powder. A couple of minutes and it cools too much. Also, don't stir it too long or it will break into gobs as it cools.

Seconded. If it's not hot enough, it will not set. I actually run a little boiling water in my container to warm in up beforehand too. You want to make sure the mix won't cool before you're done mixing it. It really needs to be super hot in order to get that jello texture.

You can try more powder or less water which may help. like 1 part powder to 1.5 parts water. Mix it until it starts getting a little thicker and put it in the fridge to set.
