Can't Find Tank Stand For 20g Hex Glass Tank

Hey everyone! I'm brand new to fish keeping and have been researching alot. I was slooking for a 10 gal tank but recently got a good deal on a top fin 20 gal glass hex tank for my king betta but I'm having a really hard time finding a stand for it. I can't even find any house hold furniture that would be durable enough to hold 250-300 lbs. I'm starting to wonder if I should return the tank and get a good ol fashioned rectangular tank as I'm getting discouraged.

Any hex tank users willing to share what they use for stands? Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch !

you should look to building one. It's fairly easy and there are lots of tutorials on youtube that show how people build theirs.

Agreed just build one. It would more then likely end up being more sturdy then something you could buy.

I used to have a 60 gallon hex tank and it set on one of the large wood spools the rooms of wire come on, it looked great. It's the typ like you see at construction sites etc. I'm not sure how common they are now but come in many different sizes, electric companies, phone companies, etc. have the laying around.

Could also try any large hardware store that sells wire/ cable by the metre because they too often have the spools.

The best way to go is to build one, I was lucky enough to be taking a construction class and was able to build one free of charge.
