I have these 5 cardinal tetras and can only find two. Checked filter, moved decorations around and can't find them. Could they have dug in the gravel or could they have gotten eaten? I have 7 red eye tetras (all my fish are small) and 5 glofish (zebra danios) in the tank also. Could they have eaten them, it is also twenty gallon. but i doubt those would have eaten them? and i also got 2 adult dwarf gouramis that i returned because they got sick. could those have eaten them? or something else?

Eaten. I've lost a few neons, but have never found a neon body.

I'm sorry about your missing fish.
Most any fish will eat another fish after they have passed.

Possibly the Adult Gouramis if it was before you returned them.
