Can't connect to fishlore

HI to whoever is concerned by this post,

Ever since I changed my Facebook password, I can't connect to the desktop version of fishlore.

I'm using the latest Chrome browser on OSX 10.11.5. I actually can connect (and see how many notifications I have) but as soon as I click any link, it returns "too many redirect."

Weirdly (and thankfully) I can still use it with the app on my phone.

 

I had the same exact thing happen to me last week. My husband cleaned my computer and still did it. I finally logged out of facebook and it's worked fine ever since. I have no clue why it would effect it.

OK so thanks to your reply, I found a way for this to work: log out of Facebook, clear cookies from both fishlore and Facebook, log onto fishlore.

But as soon as I log back into Facebook, the same problem comes back...

Not sure what is happening there... but we do have the facebook connect platform and if your fishlore and facebook accounts are linked you can try unlinking them.

You're so cool. Thank you, Mike and Florian Pellet. I hadn't tried it in that order, but combining the two suggestions got me to login! I'm so happy and relieved.

You will have to use the website version of the forum to unlink your facebook and fishlore accounts.

Yes, this worked once I did the cookies for both fishlore and facebook, but then tonight after logging back into facebook it did the "Too many redirects," again. After I removed cookies again for both it let me in again. At least I'm close, I thank you for this.

 

This happened to me too on my phone. I was logging in through safarI so I could update my profile since that isn't an option on the app ... I can usually hit 1 link but after that I get too many FB redirects. This didn't happen before a few days ago. Was there some sort of update to the FB platform or to the FL web page?

For me it happened just after I changed my FB password. Maybe you changed yours?

Nope. I use the FB app but actually have been on very minimally the last few months.
