Ok so I just received this Sunsun canister. I have rinsed and filled the baskets and set them back into the can, situating each one so they are flush. I then added the filter sponge son top. I'm wondering if I've done this correctly. The lid was very hard to squish down and get closed. Currently top to bottom I have,

    1 blue course sponge
    3 white finer sponges
    Plastic lid
Basket containing mesh bagged aragonite and white sponge on bottom
Basket containing matrix and white sponge
Basket containing included ceramic and white sponge
Basket containing included bio balls and white sponge.

There were pretty much no instructions on setup so I'm needing to know if this is good or if I need to change something before I fill it up!

Also, do I have to use the entire spray bar or can it be shortened? There are removable pieces.

You don't have the use the entire spray bar.

I got my hands on a used canister filter for free however the spray bar and tubes were loose, so they would end up coming off all the time. I figured it wasn't worth the risk of spilling water all over my floor so I just took off the spray bar and use the output to create a current in my aquarium.

Do you think I've stacked everything appropriately?

Anyone? I really want to get this running but don't want to screw it up!

Never mind. I had it completely backwards but I think I have it now.
