Does anybody on here have any experience on cleaning the hoses on a canister filter? Can I just soak it in bleach and let it dry out for a few days, I can't afford a cleaning kit right now and the hose has green stuff all in it from the last time I used It, I would like to get it back going pretty quick. It's a magniflow 360 canister filter

If you do a bleach soak you should then rinse repeatedly in conditioned water and then air dry.

You don't want to inject bleach accidentally into your system.
