I personally like canister filters, no noise, ability to really close up the top, much neater look and operation. Now, others may have a difference of opinion, but that is not what I am here to debate. I want to know does anyone have a recommendation for a good canister that will not over do a 10 gallon tank. I am concerned about too much water pressure coming out, I plan to point the outflow at the tank wall but I still do t want it too strong. I also, need something that is small in physical size, I mean I dont want the canister to be bigger then the tank if you know what I mean.

Thanks for input.

I think a Fluval106 could be a good option for a 10. Following cause i'm also interested in swapping my AC20 on my 10 for a small canister. Anxious to see some replies!

The flow rate is adjustable on the Fluval.

Yes i lovemy Fluvalcanisters i have a 406 on my 55 and a 206 on my 20 long. i always keep them at max flow cause i also run an AC70 at 1/2 flow on my 55 and an AC50 at 1/2 flow on my 20 long...not to mention they also have sponge filters running... My tanks might be a bit overstocked but they are all very heavily planted and everyone is very happy and healthy.

Sunsun 602B or 603B, both have a flow of 106GPH, tho that will vary depending on your head pressure.

The non B models don't have a pump, essentially they're media reactors and you can then attach a pump of your desired flow rate.
