Can you keep a school of cardinals with Angels ?

 

Yes, you can but I would get adult cardinal tetras as the juveniles might get eaten.

 

My angel is quarter sized, the guy at petsmart said once my angel got bigger he would eat the cardinals ? He said his did.

 

I guess it's possible but cardinals tend to get larger than something like neons which angels would definitely snack on. Maybe it's neons he had?

 

What about rummy nose and cardinals together with the Angel and 2 Rams ?

I read a lot here about keeping only one angel. These fish are social fish to my knowledge so I don't understand.

 

I think that would be a fine stock for that tank size.

It depends. Some angels will eat neons and cardinals even if they grow up with them. On the other hand, sometimes they're okay. All depends on the fish and the gamble you want to take
