Can You Hook Up A Python To An Extendable Kitchen Faucet?

I'm about to buy a python water changer after 3 and a half years of bucket hauling, but I don't really want to use a bathroom sink and risk a clog causing an overflow while I'm paying attention to cleaning the tank. Unfortunately my kitchen sink is the pull-out hose type and doesn't have an exposed aerator that I can take off to screw on the adapter. Is there any way to attach the adapter to a sink like this?

There may be a way to attach it to the hose the faucet is attached to, but you can also attach it to your shower spout.

I've been wondering the same thing as I have the same dilemma so I've be researching it.

Here is what I found one guy did and I might try it:

Our kitchen sink is the pull out kind... no threads for anything. My solution is to put a bucket in the sink, put a pump in the bucket, turn on the sink, and then pump water to the tanks.

I never thought of hooking it up there, that's a good idea. I'll have to check if I could somehow detach the sprayer thing and hook it straight up to the hose though, I'd much rather just do that

I just about had a heart attack when I moved into the rental my parent bought because even though it's a *very* nice kitchen, that tap is extendable as well. I informed them that if it didn't work in the bathroom tap I was buying a new facet. I have a 60 gallontank. There is no way in heck I'm bucket training that sucker. Not when it's armpit high on me. Good news is that it did work in the bathroom.

The other thing is that while I drain my tank, I start the syphon with it hooked up to the tap, then fold the hose over to stop the water, unscrew the hose and leave it loose in my bathtub. Works 100%.

Very helpful knowing about the bathtub thing! My main concern with using the bathroom sink is the one closest to the tank can't handle a high flow of water, or else it starts to fill up. I'll definitely be using that trick!

My expandable sink has a part in the middle of the telescoping part that allows itself to be unscrewed and I can attach my python to it. I couldn't find it but my husband did and then we just leave the brass part there so I don't have to mess with it anymore lol. It can be done with some but not with others.
