I just ran out of bottled water and my britta needs a new filter. The idea of drinking tap is gross, so this thought just popped into my brain. What if you used Prime on the tap water??? Think you could drink it?
This is giving me major Willy Wonka vibesSure you can drink any liquid. No clue if you will die afterwards but you can certainly drink it. Now if you were to freeze it you could eat it instead !
That was my thought! Haha but it does smell quite gross xDI mean wouldn’t it be better for you because it takes any chlorine out?
Ive never used prime before but there’s no way it could smell worse than microbe lift special blend bacteria for cycling tanks it literally smells like how I imagine rotting bodies smellThat was my thought! Haha but it does smell quite gross xD

Yeah I know I was just saying that it would be better for you because having 0 instead of .5 percent is betterChlorine isn't dangerous to drink in the quantities used in tap water.
Chlorine actually makes water safer for you to consume so I'm not sure why you'd want to remove it, its also serves as an essential electrolyte when consumed in water.Yeah I know I was just saying that it would be better for you because having 0 instead of .5 percent is better

Agree.I'd rather take my chances with tap water than the mystery ingredients in Prime.
Agree.
Does cooking remove chlorine as well ?
Hahahaha and let it cool down before drinking. Not sure but it leads to burnt tongue and sometimes burnt fingers. Also it can lead to excellent waffles.
This thread actually comes from me being the most lazy person on earth. I have water in the trunk of my car, I don’t want to carry it upstairs to my apartment on the second floorAlso, a gallon or two of drinking water from the store is cheaper than prime
