It looks quite a bit like a sailfin pleco to me. I have one and they have the same markings. It looks like yours has 12 or more dorsal fin segments but I can't quite tell from the pic. The sex I can't tell, sorry! He ( or she ) is really gorgeous, congrats!
Got this big stunner aswell
Your just showing off now. They are beauties.
Looks like a Rusty Pleco to me. Very beautiful
Those are beautiful fish! I'm no pleco expert, but the markings on the first one do not look like a sailfin to me...
They are really nice looking fish.
Both are stunning- where did you get them? I have never seen anything like these at LFS. The bronze one , how big does it get? Temp range?
The rusty looking one is around 6-7 inches and the other one around 4-5 Temp range of the water is 26°c
I rescued the rusty one and brought the other from my LFS
The first is a Gold Spotted Sailfin, Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus. Mine used to look like that when he was younger. The second resembles Hypostomus cochliodon, or could be a species in that complex. I had one of these a looong time ago, they were called Chocolate Plecos (before the color variant of commons existed).
