Can someone help me sexe my Zebra Danios?

FRANCOSEB

Hello, I just got my zebra danios a couple weeks ago and was waiting too breed them! I previously bred my CPD where for me was easier to sexe them but with these fish its harder. Maybe there not old enough but I don't know.

Ps. they live in a 20 gal tank not In the small tank with the gourami that was only a temporary placement.

The females would be round, and males have a yellowish hue to the. Most of yours look like males. I think I spotted one that may be a female. However, they are skinny, one of them especially. Feed them well including frozen foods and if there is a female she should be getting really plump within a couple weeks or so.

Thanks for the reply, as you see in the top view video, would you say the darker coloured one was a female?

Can't tell from that video. There is one that quickly comes in and goes out of view in the other videos. That one seems to have a belly with potential, but there is none with eggs yet to be certain. They are too quick, which is one reason I don't keep them anymore.

Too quick as in they stress you out watching them?

Yes. Not just watching, hard to do a headcount or examine their health. Or catching a particular one in a school.
