I have a rubber tub with a hole in it, and I'd like to seal it up to fill it with water. Would silicone make a proper seal?

Maybe.. it would depend on the size of the hole I guess.

The hole's just wide enough that a chopstick can fit through.

You could always try it. Whats the worst is going to happen? It still leaks?

I would suggest using Loctite, You can buy it at Lowes, Home Depot or most Hardware Stores.

This works great and sets up in 10 minutes or so
