Can Prime Go Bad? Horrible Smell

Can seachem prime go bad??? It has this awful horrible smell all of a sudden. It makes me gag if I open the bottle and I can smell it strongly from the tank after a water change. Whats going on?

I have no clue but I know my smells pretty brutal but after it goes in tank I definitely don’t smell it anymore so that might be something I dunno

It will smell bad and it is perfectly fine. According to Seachem's website, it never expires.

I hate spilling it on my fingers because then they smell. It is perfectly normal. I use a lot of soap and water. lol

Prime has a definite sulfur smell.

your prime is fine it should smell like well.... Farts.... AKA sulfur (If you have ever smelled real sulphur you know what i mean) Dont get it on your hands or you will smell too. But i dont know why your tank is smelling, it shouldnt after you mix your prime in.

Would the tank possibly smell from way overdosing on prime? That's the only thing I could think of.
