Can my Mystery Snail recover from the Shell Break?

My yellow mystery snail decided a couple of days ago to crawl out of the tank, and fall 3 feet onto the floor. I don't have a lid on the tank, but now I do because of this. She had never done this before in the months of having her.
Here is the result:

I added some cuttlebone into the tank to help. Can she(or he) recover from this??? I saw people saying to glue an eggshell, but she is so fidgety I don't think I can do that successfully. Is it possible for her to grow the shell back on her own? Or is she slowly dying? Help!

It's possible for mystery snails to grow thier shell back but that's a bad break. I would feed high calcium foods and make sure water parameters stay good to give her the best odds.

luckily she's been crawling around and eating, so I hope she'll heal it!

the snail shell grows from edges, not the hole.

the skin underneath will toughen up like a callous.

i tried this and the snail lived an extra 4-6 months? a few years back.

I've seen people crushing up eggshells for this? you already have cuttlebone which is good.

I think she might have passed :( i have her in a separate container just to make sure, but she is not reacting to touch and her operculum is wide open. she is about 1.5 years old I think, so she might just be too old and that was her final 3-foot jump to have fun haha. I got her from Petco so I'm surprised she's lasted so long!
