Can my ADF eat this

Hey guys so I got my ADF (African Dwarf Frog), on Monday and she's been doing good for the most part. Today I went in to feed her and first I threw in a little bit of ZooMed Pellets for Aquatic Frogs, and she didn't eat that. Then I tried freeze dried Bloodworms with a tweezer so I can reach in there and put it up to her face, she didn't eat that. Then since it was feeding time for the tank, she took my Cory's Algae Wafer, that I give once in a while, and started munching on that. She was also found kinda close to their other food (the API Bottom Feeder Pellets), but she was mostly munching on the Algae Wafer. Is this concerning in terms of, should ADF's be eating that. I know they have to have a high protien diet, but she seems to eat the Algae Wafer, and I think some chunks of the High Protien Bottom Feeder Pellets. Also should I try Frozen Brine Shrimp?

I feed mine catfish wafers and they do perfectly fine. If anything mine started to lay Eggs every 2-4 weeks with high hatch rates ever since i started to fed them catfish wafers.

Hikari. Break them into smaller pieces.

 

African Dwarf Frogs are carnivores. Looking at the ingredients it's not something I'd recommend as a staple.
Give the frozen Brine shrimp a try.
There are also some great recommendations from a member who bred and spoke at clubs through out Canada.

Mysis shrimp; brine-shrimp; glassworms (mosquito larvae); bloodworms (best fed sparingly, if at all); beefheart; blackworms; tubifex worms; earthworms; whiteworms; talapia fish; tuna or salmon steak; shrimp, mussels and prawns (from the grocery store); gammarus and krill (not particular favourites but some frogs will eat them); even canned tuna or cooked chicken breast (but these are messy); smaller frogs will eat smaller foods such as daphnia (water-fleas), cyclops (water fleas), bosmidea (water fleas). Although liver is sometimes recommended, it should probably be avoided since there is new evidence to suggest that feeding liver can cause vitamin A toxicity (personally, I believe this to be true).

 

I find it hard to feed adfs brine shrimp. I’ve used syringes and let it melt then suck about 0.1 into the syringe and try to blow it in front of the frogs…. It just gets everywhere. I found some aquatic frog and tadpole micro pellets that my adfs absolutely love. It takes a minute for them to sink, so I usually use tweezers to poke at them until they sink. Frozen blood worms seem to be their favorite and I usually thaw it in a small (really small) container and refrigerate the rest for a few days… since my frogs can’t eat a whole block of the frozen stuff.
