Can I use Redwood in fish tank?

Sokamix

Hey guys I’m setting up a new tank and I found a beautiful redwood stick outside, I washed it off and removed the bark I was wondering if it’s safe for aquariums. Thx

Wood from coniferous trees usually isn't good for aquarium use because they have too much resin. They have biofilm for months and the sugary resin may either cause bacteria blooms or even make the water turn inhospitable. Sorry.
