Hi learned fish friends!
im in the process of upgrading my ADF/guppy tank from a 10 gallon to a 20 long. I would like to create a shoal/ledge area for some visual interest and, having torn apart my vampire crab enclosure have cleaned hydroballs and bio mesh available to use.
My question is - are the zoo med hydroballs safe to use in my aquarium?
I olanned to design it much the way I did the paladarium: filter sponge to keep the area shaped, hydroballs behind it for height (about 2.5”) cover with bio mesh, then sand/gravel mix a top it. I figured this might be a lovely way to get some good roots on some of the plants I have as well (Anubias, Java fern)
all thoughts/ advice welcome!! Thank you in advance!
