Hi everyone!
So I have a 60 gallon aquarium with an Aquaclear 110 and an Aquacler 50 for filtration. The tank is in my room and I have found that the Aquaclear 110 is pretty noisy. So I was wondering if I could put the Aquaclear 110 off and keep the Aquaclear 50 on during the night. Please let me know what you think.

Is it the motor or water noise? Water noise is an easy fix with a sponge "baffle".
I would not personally turn off one of the filters, but the stocking would determine if it would be really bad to leave it off or not.

You may be able to get away with turning one filter off, but it will depend on your stocking. More information on stocking is required to get a good answer.

Then I would definitely try attaching a sponge to the output of your filter before turning it off. Ammonia spikes from that would be no fun to wake up to in the morning...
This does work really well. This is a coarse glass cleaner sponge. I dont know the size of the outlets to know what would work for you.
