Can I Stop Treating Fin Rot Now"

Daily water changes werent helping my boy so I started using melafix. Took 75%of the recommended dose and diluted it in water before adding it to the tank.

Well his fins are looking a lot better and mostly grown back. Should I stop dosing now and add his filter back?

Hes in a 3.5 gallon unlike my other bettas in 10 gallons because he has terrible vision(eyes half scaled over). But he loves it

I don't think you should have removed the filter, you can remove the carbon.
Anyways, I think he's improving, so you can add that filtration source back, but I would continue with the water changes every day.

Well there are other medications better recommended than Melafix, but now that it still solved the problem, you can stop dosing. Since he has his eyes scaled over, use bannana leaves to thin the scales in his eye so he can see better.

Id say it looks good enough but probably give the medicaiton at least 5-7 days to work to kill micorbial rot.
