Can I remove this baby plant?

Hi guys. My snake plant in my crested gecko enclosure just sprouted up a new baby. This plant is already growing crazy tall as it is so I was wondering if I could remove this and replant it. If so how?

I'd wait till it grows another leaf then dig it up with a spoon. The plant is connected via a thick stalk to the mother plant so you'll have to break that when you remove it.

If it has its own root system you can remove it from the mother plant, if not you will have to wait.
