Can I Keep Small Rainbow Shark In 1 Litre Container Overnight?

So I'm giving away my rainbow shark to a guy tommorow since he constantly fights with my other shark. Can I keep him in a small container overnight till the guy picks him up? I'm comcerned about keeping him in my tank for fear of bugging my other shark or possibly killing him.

 

No different than shipping him in a bag. I would keep him in the dark while he is in the container to keep him calm.

Ok.Will I have any problems with lack of heating/filtration?

 

As long as you keep him in a warm room, or float him in the tank with the lights off you will be fine. He should be fine overnight but you can change the water with tank water before you go to bed and in the morning if it makes you feel more comfortable.
