Can I keep 1 Green Severum in a 55 gallon tank?

Hello. I was wondering if you can keep 1 Green Severum in a 55 gallon tank?

Actually a little debatable. They can get big. They can get about 10” if they get to that maximum. They might have a hard time turning if it got to that point.

However they are slow growers too.

I miss mine.

I went and traded my Angelfish for him. I couldn't take the Angelfish aggression anymore. He's so cool looking!!! How big was yours?

Before he was mercifully murdered by my BP he was about 4 inches.

Red shoulders are super cool looking and a really laid back cichlid, especially considering they are from from the same area as some of the super aggressive ones.
